Penelope Tasca, FOUNDER and PRESIDENT

PENELOPE is a high school junior in Las Vegas. She founded Bright Minds Las Vegas in 2023 after volunteering at Catholic Charities and learning that the domestic violence shelter situated next door provides temporary housing for nearly 80 children. Penelope, in her capacity as President, looks for new ways to expand Bright Minds' reach in the Las Vegas Valley and has expanded its services to include short workshops and tutoring. In her free time, Penelope enjoys playing soccer and hanging out with her friends.

Lila Tasca, FOUNDER and VICE PRESIDENT

LILA is a freshman at the University of Southern California and a founder of Bright Minds Las Vegas. Lila was integral to the organization's start and has been a true force in its expansion. In her free time, Lila enjoys spending time with her friends and exploring her new home iin Los Angeles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

Zachary Rose, MARKETING DIRECTOR

ZACHARY has proudly served as the organization's Marketing Director since May 2023. He is consistently developing innovative strategies to market the company's educational materials and is incredibly passionate about all things marketing-related. He is fluent in Spanish and a self-proclaimed junk food connoisseur. In his free time, Zachary enjoys practicing his Spanish-speaking skills and listening to music.

Cathleen Schmitt, SECRETARY

CATIE is a freshman at Texas Christian University studying nursing. In addition to Bright Minds, she has volunteered with Save the Word Nevada, National Charity League, and Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada. In her spare time, Catie enjoys hanging out with her friends and focusing on her studies.
